While fully aware of the importance of environment protection and the need to contribute to the health and well-being of the community, “Casa das Letras” was awarded the “Green Key” label in 2021, as a result of the sustainability program has implemented according to “Green Key” rules. Green Key is a voluntary eco-label represented in Portugal by Bandeira Azul.
Some of the measures implemented comprise energy and water saving, awareness to waste recycling and management, as well as the use of local and ecologic products, or encouraging walks in nature or using the bikes available.
“Casa das Letras” is rented to groups, families or just one guest, on an exclusive basis.
We have a cleaning and hygiene program certified by Turismo de Portugal, with Clean&Safe seal and the European Tourism Covid-19 Safety Seal.
